49th BMW BERLIN MARATHON on September 23 & 24, 2023
The 49th BMW BERLIN MARATHON will be held on 23rd amd 24th September 2023. Nearly 55,000 runners and skaters from over 120 nations embark on the adventure marathon. The start-finish area between the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and Victory Column in the center of the capital, the run is on a sightseeing tour of Berlin with the climax at the end, the passage of the Brandenburg Gate shortly before the finish.
Around one million spectators along the course, participants cheer enthusiastically, over 70 live bands for mood. The route is flat and is considered the fastest marathon course in the world.
Since 2003, there are eight world records were set, most recently in fall 2022 by the Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge (2:01:09 hours).

GREEN LINE meets SCC EVENTS Info at the MARATHON EXPO 2023
Most of you are already aware: Our GREEN LINE will lead you straight to all news and information on the topic of sustainability.
At the MARATHON EXPO, we will be combining our GREEN LINE stand with our SCC EVENTS information stand for the first time, offering all participants the perfect contact point for everything important about our events AND our commitment to sustainability.
Win one of three race entries for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024
As a special highlight, we are setting up an “energy bike” at our stand. All visitors can use their pedal power to generate up a column of light. Every day we will draw one winner of a race entry for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2024 at the energy bike.
In addition, you can once again donate your worn-out running shoes: We will collect clean and intact running shoes and sneakers at the GREEN LINE stand and present them to the Stadtmission Berlin charity.
